“It’s not weird if we make out cause were friends. Right?”
I just got back from the beach. I went down Friday after yet another interview and stayed with my friends Chris and Meredith. This weekend was my summer vacation and It was really good. I met some awesome people who don’t drink or smoke [even at night] and love to go to Denny’s at 2 in the a to get boca burgers. Saturday was an amazing beach day. Meredith, Jordan and I got pancakes and then layed on the beach for hours. It was great. I also hung out with Chris’s family which was also fun, his grandparents are the cutest older people ever. The weekend also included some of the best falafel I’ve ever had, making fun of weird people that frequent the Wildwood boardwalk and friends that share my love for The Smiths. I’m completely satisfied with my summer vacation, even though it was only a few days.
ALSO. CONOR OBERST IS PLAYING IN PHILLY. And his new album comes out on AUGUST 5TH! Unfortunately, my sidekick when it comes to obsessing over Conor is going to be in China when he’s touring, BUT I’m going with some of my faves anyway. Also coming up, The Faint, possibly Maria Taylor and Built to Spill.
Summer term classes start tomorrow. Ugh.
